Physicians
Lin W. Clark, MD
Dr. Clark earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas
City School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Internal
Medicine. She has been practicing in the Blue Springs and Independence
areas since 1992, treating adult patients as their primary care physician.
Dr. Clark holds a board certification in Internal Medicine. She is bilingual
in English and Chinese.
Dean L. Mundhenke, MD
Dr. Mundhenke is a South Dakota native who grew up working as a ranch hand
and fry cook. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha (top 3%) from the University
of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine, then completed his residency
at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Mundhenke enjoys spending time with family, playing
golf, traveling and eating with friends; not necessarily in that order.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has vast experience managing
chronic diseases. He likes to treat and evaluate medical symptoms and
problems. Dr. Mundhenke enjoys the intellectual and emotional challenge
of practicing medicine.
Meng Zhao, MD
Dr. Zhao (pronounced “Jow,” rhymes with how) joined BSIM in
September 2020. Prior to her move here, she practiced for 16 years as
a Primary Care Physician in the St. Louis-metro and central New York.
Dr. Zhao earned her medical degree from the Medical School of Xian Jiaotong
University. Then, she worked as a Biological Research Specialist in Philadelphia,
PA for 9 years. Dr. Zhao completed her Internal Medicine Externship at
the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ and her Residency
at Drexel University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She is passionate about managing
her patients’ chronic medical conditions. Dr. Zhao has been married
over 30 years, she and her husband have two children. Out of the office,
she enjoys spending time with them, jogging, reading, and listening to
classical music. She is bilingual in English and Chinese.
Nurse Practitioners
Tammy Osborn, ANP-C, BC-ADM, CDCES
Tammy Osborn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University
of Missouri-Kansas City in 1997. In 2011, she returned to her alma mater
and completed a Master of Science in Nursing. Tammy treats acute and chronic
diseases and focuses on health promotion and health education. She completed
her Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Management certificate in December
2018, and a Certified Diabetes Educator in January 2019. Tammy specializes
in the complexities of diabetic conditions. She has cared for Blue Springs
Internal Medicine patients as a nurse practitioner since 2012.
